Is it a real flame?
No, and that's the point. It's LED light shining up through cool mist, so it moves like fire without anything burning. Nothing gets hot, there's no smoke and no fire risk, so you can leave it on while you fall asleep.
Is this a humidifier?
It adds a little moisture to the air, but the tank is 150ml, so it's an aroma diffuser rather than a room humidifier. If you want to fix seriously dry air in a whole room, buy a proper humidifier instead. We'd rather tell you now.
How long does one fill last?
About 5 to 7 hours, at 20–30ml per hour. When the water runs out it switches itself off automatically, so you can't damage it by forgetting.
What's in the box?
The diffuser, a USB-C cable, instructions, and four 10ml water-soluble aroma oils: rose, lemon, sakura and lily. There's no wall plug — use any phone charger, laptop or power bank you already have.
Can I use my own essential oils?
Yes, a few drops of any water-soluble aroma oil. The oils we include are water-soluble aroma oils, not pure therapeutic-grade essential oils, and they're made for diffusers like this one.
Is it noisy?
It runs under 36dB, which is quieter than a fridge. Honest caveat: it isn't completely silent. In a dead-quiet room you'll hear a soft hum.
Is it safe around pets?
The diffuser itself is, since there's no flame or heat. But some aroma oils, especially tea tree and eucalyptus, aren't safe for cats and dogs. If you have pets, check the oil before you diffuse it, or run it with plain water for the flame effect alone.
How big is it, and how do I look after it?
25.5cm long and 7.5cm tall, so about the size of a pencil case. Use filtered or distilled water where you can, since tap water can leave a fine white dust over time. Rinse it out every week or so.
